Greasby is within easy travelling distance of Liverpool, New Brighton, Hoylake and the City of Chester. Visit Liverpool with its many attractions, such as the World Maritime Museum and Walker and Tate Art Galleries or visit the National Trust’s Tudor Speke Hall, not forgetting the Cavern Club and various other Beatles memorabilia sites. Buses stop regularly between Greasby and Liverpool or you could park at Meols Station (3 miles away) and catch a train to Liverpool Central.
The world famous Roman City of Chester is 25 minutes drive away. Wander along the two story medieval shopping lanes (the Rows), walk the Roman Wall and perhaps visit Chester Cathedral. Younger people will certainly enjoy a trip to Chester’s famous Zoo where the ‘park and ride’ bus service to the City is also located. An hour’s drive will take you to the North Wales coast or the Snowdonia National Park. Other more local tourist attractions include historic warships, Blue Planet Aquarium, space centre and botanical gardens.
